Alexandra Nilsson is a composer and musician based in Stockholm, Sweden. She mainly composes and performs with trumpet or other objects and live electronics.
Her work stretches between sound-art, electronica, EAM and free improvisation. With a background in jazz and folklore, rhythm and improvisation are important elements of her work and performance. The interaction and borderland between acoustic and electronic sound worlds is also of great interest to her.
In 2010 she got her Masters Degree in composition at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. She has composed music for theatre and film as well as jazz bands, orchestra and chamber ensembles, and is also performing as soloartist.
Jenny Soep is a drawing-based artist and ‘on-the-spot’ illustrator. She captures the essence of live original/alternative/experimental music and art(s) events. Using paper and/or various drawing materials/technologies she plays in the cross-overs between performer & audience member, illustrative & abstract, and music influenced image making.
Jenny has been drawing for the Polar Music Prize, Unicef, Stockholm University, SKAP, Add Gender and fst, drawing the likes of Patti Smith, Björk, Robyn, Yo-Yo Ma, Hailu Mergia and First Aid Kit.
With her MA in Illustration: Authorial Practice from Falmouth College of Art, and BDES Honours degree in Illustration & Printmaking, Jenny has been continuing her intrigue in sharing knowledge across ages and abilities with various workshops in drawing music and drawing digitally.
